Some UCC Level 100 Students To Begin Lectures At Nduom School of Business & Tech.

NSBT

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong has confirmed that some first-year students of UCC are going to be at the Nduom School of Business and Technology (NSBT).

He publicly made this known when he led a team from the University of Cape Coast to familiarization tour of the campus of Nduom school of Business and Technology to assess its readiness to host some of the newly admitted students of the University. He inspected the Library, Lecture Halls, Main Administration, Auditorium, Cafteria, Hostels, Infirmary, ICT services among others.

Prof Boampong further explained that the need has become greater for UCC to have another satellite campus because of the influx of the increased number of the first batch of the free SHS graduates who will not be satisfactorily served by the UCC’s current facilities. So, the management of UCC approached NSBT who readily offered their facility, and hence a Memorandum of Understanding was signed.

It was explained that the first-year students in the School of Business and the Department of Business Education will have their lectures and be accommodated at the NSBT campus. All freshmen are expected to report on Saturday, 9th January 2021.
